About Me

I am a dedicated psychiatrist who strives to bring warmth, empathy, and a deeply personcentred approach to my clinical practice. I believe that mental healthcare should not only address symptoms, but also honour each person’s unique life story, cultural background, and lived experiences. Through my experiences so far, I have developed a strong foundation in general adult psychiatry while nurturing a special interest in women’s mental health and perinatal psychiatry. I believe in taking the time to build trust, listen without judgment, and create a therapeutic space where patients feel safe, respected, and empowered. My approach is holistic— recognising the intricate interplay between mind, body, and environment—and combines evidence-based treatment with a compassionate, collaborative mindset. I am also committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness and believe in walking alongside my patients as they navigate their healing journey, offering not just medical support, but also encouragement, education, and hope. I believe that meaningful recovery begins with understanding, connection, and care tailored to the individual.
